Zooba, a highly popular MOBA game with over 100 million downloads on iOS and Android, faced two critical challenges: the need for new features after 5+ years of development and a UI revamp to compete with industry leaders, all while preserving the established art direction and app size. These challenges worried about declining player engagement and revenue.

Events are limited-time challenges with unique objectives and rewards. The Events revamp aimed to boost engagement and revenue by refining events info, enhancing UI visuals, and adding pivotal gameplay moments for an enriched player experience and better game performance.

The Events feature resulted in a substantial boost for the game, driving a 3% increase in revenue and extending session times by an impressive 10%. This achievement highlights how these specially crafted events not only enhanced player engagement, but also significantly contributed to the game's financial success.
